An arched upright in grey resin with a flash of green, the middle of the three clear ones. The body climbs off a splayed foot and turns right over into a flared mouth, with a fin swung out to one side where the two curves cross. Grey runs the upper body with a green flash where the arch meets the fin, and everything beneath it clears almost to white. Its black marble block is included, and the foot meets it along a splayed edge rather than at a point.
At this height the same arch is near enough the foot to be safe and far enough away to still look precarious. It is the size at which the design leaves the shelf and joins the room: it meets a standing viewer at the chest, which is why the green is banked in the upper half where it will actually be met. The casting is at its thinnest exactly where the two curves meet, and that is the only place a second colour could register at all. A full polish everywhere, and the green shows at all only because the body is at its thinnest just there.
A console or a sideboard, at a height where the arch is above the eye. Keep the ground behind plain, because the top half of this one is nearly transparent and takes its tone from whatever is there. Light from behind turns the green flash on; from the front it is barely there at all. It reads as a grey curve across a room and the green is a reward for standing close.
Work on a bespoke commission runs to 5–6 weeks, on a standard piece to 3–4. The green is spread further along the junction, the grey behind it is deepened, and white stone replaces the black block. Spread the green further and the body is thinned along its path, so the piece gets lighter wherever the colour goes. A blue version of this is made, clearing to colourless at the top in the same way the grey one does. Two parts in one crate. Level the block where it is going to stay, and the casting goes on afterwards with nothing to fix. One person can manage it, though the splayed foot is the only safe handhold on the whole object. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
More arched forms carrying a single flash of colour are found in our organic sculptures, beside further grey and clear resin work in our resin sculptures and other members of the same design in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
