A stack of thin plates rising into points, grey through the foot and clearing as it goes up, on a shallow block of dark stone. Grey at the foot clearing to colourless at the points, so the stack empties out as it rises. A black block is supplied beneath it, and the stack stands squarely on it.
Every plate edge in this stack returns a line of light, and the number of edges is the same at the foot as at the points. What changes is the depth it has to travel through before it gets back out, so the piece looks brightest exactly where there is least of it. Stacking thin plates in a clear body means every edge returns a line of light, and the material gives back more at the points than at the foot because there is less to pass through. The plate faces are polished and the edges are left as cut, which is what makes each one visible.
It suits a desk or a shelf at seated eye height, where the plate edges are in line with the eye. A dark ground behind it, so that the bright plate edges have something to register against. Light from one side turns every edge into a line; from in front it is a single grey mass. The stack reads as a solid from across a room and comes apart into plates at the desk.
Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The plate count can be run further, the grey can be taken out, and the block can be exchanged for stone. Add plates and the height goes up with them, since no plate is ever thinned to keep the total as it was. A single crate takes the pair of them, and the whole thing is unpacked and placed in about a minute. One person, both hands, and never by the points. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Thin plates stacked into points belong with our organic sculptures; the grey and clear casting sits among our resin sculptures, and more for a desk at seated height is in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
