Green to Amber Dancing Figure Resin Sculpture - 69cm
Green to Amber Dancing Figure Resin Sculpture - 69cm $1,68700
Description

A dancing form turned at the waist with one arm carried above the head, standing on a white marble block. Green at the crown runs through yellow into amber at the foot, with all three visible at once from the front. The white marble block comes with it, and the figure arrives fixed to it.

No Thickness to Hide a Change In

There is no thickness here to conceal a change of colour in, so every transition happens across the width of the piece and is seen whole from the front. At this depth the piece behaves more like a panel than a solid: daylight passes straight through and the colours arrive one after another rather than together, which is why where it stands matters more here than on any neighbouring piece. A three-colour run on a body this thin means there is no thickness of material to hide a transition in, so each change happens across the width and is seen whole. Polished on both faces, which matters here because the piece is nearly flat and both sides are in view.

It suits a console against a wall, or a plinth of your own if more height is wanted. A pale plain wall behind it. Three colours on a body this thin need an empty ground. Put daylight behind it. So slim a body works closer to a stained panel than to a solid. Seen from across a room the colour still registers, because so little material stands between the light and whoever is looking.

More Depth Through the Body, and Delivery

Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Two colours instead of three, more depth through the body, and a tall plinth in place of the block. Thicken the body and the run becomes something looked into rather than across, because there is then enough material to hide a change in. One crate, fixed to its block. One person. The piece is thin and should be carried by the stone alone. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A dancer turned at the waist leads into our indoor sculptures; its green, yellow and amber run suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the thin casting joins our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
