This cast resin sculpture is a green splash flung out to either side, with one solid blue droplet held at its centre and a polished gold-toned metal disc beneath. The green is deepest in the low middle of the piece and runs out to colourless along both arms, which spread out and up in a wide V, one reaching much further than the other, and finish in fine branching tips. The droplet is opaque where everything round it is not.
A solid object inside a clear one has to look as though the water arrived around it. Set the droplet in a hollow and it reads as a bead in a setting; leave too much clear material round it and it floats with nothing holding it. What makes it work is the green wrapping round the bottom half of the droplet on both sides at the same height, so the eye reads water that has just closed round it rather than a socket. The droplet is also the only opaque thing within the splash and therefore the only part that casts a real shadow inside the material, which is what gives it weight at the heart of so much clear spray.
It reaches a long way to both sides and very little forward, so it suits a narrow surface with length rather than a deep one. A shallow ledge or a run along a wall takes it comfortably where a square top would leave both arms hanging over. It is a front-facing piece: the arms are drawn in one plane and from the end it is almost nothing at all. Light from in front and slightly below finds the droplet and lights the green from underneath; light from directly above puts the droplet in its own shadow and loses it.
Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. The droplet sits at the centre of the splash and has to look as though the water closed round it rather than being set into it. The droplet comes in this blue, a clear or a gold, the spread to either side is set at order, and the disc comes in this gold tone or in black. The green can be shifted to a blue or left out altogether, and the splash can be made to hold two droplets. It arrives in one long case with both arms faced their full length and the disc packed flat beneath, and it is put together on site by setting the disc down and lowering the splash onto it by its middle. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A sea green splash cradling a single blue droplet over a gold-toned disc belongs with our metal sculptures, our organic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
