Description

This low table is drawn on an irregular pebble plan. A deep green translucent rim runs the whole way round it and holds an inset panel of pale gold worked all over with a fine mottled texture, so the two sit in one plane with the green reading as a border of light. Below, three separate supports in a dark brown close to black: one a plain cylinder, one a trefoil of curved blades.

A Gold Panel Bedded in a Green Rim

The rim and the panel are brought together in one operation: the green is run round the outside and the panel bedded into it while both are still live, so nothing shows at the joint and the two sit in one plane. Getting the panel level to the rim across an irregular pebble plan is the slow part, because there is no straight edge anywhere to work from. The panel's mottled face is worked before it goes in and is not touched afterwards. The three supports are finished to the same dark tone and their bearing tops are brought to one plane before the top is set down on them.

It sits at the middle of a seating group, its pebble plan leaving no corner to catch a shin and no edge to line up against a wall. The gold panel is read from above and the green rim from a seated position, so the piece changes as it is approached. The three supports leave the floor visible between them, which keeps a top this wide from reading as a block.

The Panel, the Three Supports, and What Is Settled at Order

Lead times run 5–6 weeks bespoke and 3–4 standard. The panel bedding sets the pace here. There are three decisions. The rim can be taken to any tint, the panel can be supplied plain rather than mottled, and the three supports can be finished to any tone. You set the plan length and you set the panel depth. Order more than one together and the mottling of the panel is matched across them. Crated with the panel face and the three supports protected, it is a two-person lift. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A gold panel ringed in green on dark supports gives our art furniture a centre table; its pebble outline answers our organic sculptures, the gilded panel our metal sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
