A figure of a woman in a long gown, her head turned under a deep bonnet-like brim and the skirt falling straight to a hem that kicks out at the front. Dark green is gathered in the head and the upper body and the colour pales down the length of the gown, so the figure seems to grow lighter toward the floor. She stands on a shallow metal disc that comes with her.
A figure in a long gown is drawn almost entirely in outline, so the decisions are about the profile: the tilt of the bonneted head, the line of the back, and the angle at which the hem kicks out to steady the whole. The colour does the modelling inside that outline, dark where the head and shoulders turn and paler down the skirt, so the gown reads as falling fabric rather than as a solid. The casting is polished over its whole surface, which lets the far side of the skirt show faintly through the near one.
It belongs on the floor beside a doorway or at the end of a run, since the disc lifts it barely at all and the height does the rest. Give it a pale wall, since a dark ground swallows the green into a silhouette. Light from behind opens the skirt right through, and light from in front gives back one flat green face. It reads as a single dark figure from the door and resolves into the bonnet and the gown as you cross the room.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. We will frost the surface instead, exchange the green for another colour, or make the figure at another height. Frost it and the same drawing at the same height becomes a quieter object, the skirt no longer showing through itself. It is shipped upright with the disc already fixed at the foot. Two people for the lift out; one can move it once it is upright. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A green figure in a long gown and bonnet belongs with our organic sculptures; the shallow disc at its foot connects it to our metal sculptures, and the end of a long wall is where it waits among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
