A frosted rock graded from white at the head to a clear green at the foot. The head divides into two rounded lobes with a deep notch between them, and the foot spreads into a broken ledge. It stands on its own marble, and the whole piece is narrow and slim, made to be seen face on.
A head that divides in two puts the whole load of both lobes through one narrow section at the bottom of the notch, and that is where a cast object fails. The answer is not to make the notch shallower, which would lose the form, but to draw it with a curve at its root rather than a corner: a radius spreads the stress over a length of material instead of concentrating it at a point. The two lobes are then modelled to lean very slightly toward one another, so each is carrying a little of the other rather than hanging out on its own. None of this is visible, and all of it is the difference between a casting that survives a knock and one that does not.
At 40cm with its marble it is a piece for a shelf, a desk or a narrow ledge rather than a table anyone walks around. The notch reads best from straight on, so give it a position it is met square from and do not set it at an angle in a corner. Light from behind is what the grade wants: the green foot goes almost black against a bright ground while the frosted head stays pale, and the object then reads as two materials rather than one.
As standard the build runs 3–4 weeks, and as a bespoke commission 5–6. The grade is set at order and the green is taken to a teal, a grey-green or a honey, all three of which are made as standing castings rather than as specials. The notch is cut deeper or nearly closed, and the marble is offered at another size. A polished version is also made and is a harder, brighter object, since the frosting is what keeps the two lobes reading as one stone. It is sent in a single box, the head sleeved and the marble laid flat under it, and one person can carry it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A rock whose head divides in two belongs with our organic sculptures; frost graded to clear green places it in our resin sculptures, and a small forked stone met face on suits our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
