A green pod, combed along the whole rim. Both ends of the pod draw away to a point, and the body is frosted in one green throughout, deepest along the belly and paler across the inside. A comb of fine upright prongs stands along the whole of the rim, each one clear of its neighbours and ending in a small round bead, like a drop caught at the top of a splash. It is sent as the pod alone, resting along the length of its own belly.
A row of fine prongs on a heavy body is a casting problem rather than a design one: each prong is a fraction of the wall thickness and stands alone, so the pitch between them decides whether the comb reads as an edge or as a fringe. Here they stand several times their own width apart, which is wide enough to see daylight between every pair and close enough that the rim still reads as a line. The frost matters as much: a polished prong would be a highlight and the comb would dissolve into a row of bright points, where a matt one keeps its own shape.
A sill beats a shelf for this one, because the prongs only separate when something is behind them. Against a plain wall the comb reads as a broken outline; against a busy one it closes up. It is read from close, and the comb is the part that will suffer if it is put somewhere busy. The prongs stand clear of the rim all the way round, so the pod has a broken outline against a plain wall and a solid one against a busy background.
Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. The prong count is raised or dropped, the green is lifted toward aqua, and the prongs are drawn longer at the two ends. The pod is cast at other lengths, and the prongs are spaced to the rim rather than kept at this interval. The prongs can also be left off the two ends where a plainer rim is wanted. The box beds it under the belly and nothing touches the prongs, and it should come out of the box held under the belly, never by the rim. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Pods and seed forms are gathered in organic sculpture; a frost carried right through a wall is resin sculpture; and prongs this fine want the shelter of indoor sculpture.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
