This split disc of clear resin is cut down the middle by a deep, rounded slot, and its two halves stand a little apart above one solid body. A band of green curves round inside each half, low down just above where they join, and the outer edge of the disc carries a faint green tint around its foot. Fine white filaments and dark hairlines run through the clear resin, crossing beneath the opening and climbing into both halves. Nothing is supplied beneath it; the underside of the disc is the foot.
Cutting the disc down the middle and easing the halves apart turns one round form into two that still share a body, and the colour follows that structure. The green lies in a curving band in both halves, close to the join, so the tint is strongest where the two halves meet the solid body and fades to clear resin towards their tops. Through the solid body the filaments do the rest: pale strands and thin dark lines cross one another beneath the slot and rise into both halves, so the split reads as an opening in a single piece rather than a gap between two castings.
A sideboard, a console table or a broad shelf suits it, with a window or a lamp somewhere behind, since the slot and the green bands both depend on light arriving from the back. It should not be pushed against a wall: the gap is the whole composition, and a shadow behind it closes the piece up. Daylight from behind lights both green bands together and turns the slot into a bright notch between them. Indoor use only.
Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The green can be laid in one half only, deepened or swapped for another colour, the filaments can be kept clear of the slot, and the two halves can be drawn further apart. Diameter is open here, and the band of colour is redrawn to sit at the same point on the new form. Where the filaments are not wanted at all, the disc can be left as clear resin with the green alone. It arrives in one crate bedded under the foot, and two people should lift it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Look under organic sculpture for split forms, under resin sculpture for colour banked inside a wall, and under indoor sculpture for anything this dependent on where the light comes from.

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
