A chair drawn as one continuous curve: the backrest rolls forward into the seat, and the seat sweeps down and back into a cantilevered base that rests on the floor, with no legs at all. It is made throughout in a clear, transparent green acrylic that deepens where the curve folds.
A chair without legs has to carry its load through its own curve, and that is the discipline this shape imposes: every part of it is both surface and structure, and there is no join to strengthen. The transparent green shows it clearly, since the colour gathers wherever the material folds and the curve reads as a single band of darker green running unbroken from the head of the chair down to the ground. The ribs pressed into the base are there to stiffen it where it meets the floor.
It suits a dining table, a desk or a living room where a chair is seen as much as sat in. On a pale floor its colour is at its clearest. Daylight from behind lights the whole curve. A run of them along a table reads as a repeated wave of green. From a distance it is a single ribbon of colour, and the ribs in the base are found close to.
Plan for 3–4 weeks on a standard piece and 5–6 weeks on a bespoke commission. Three points are open when you order. The chair can be made in another transparent colour, the finish can be kept glossy or given a frosted surface, and a set can be ordered for a dining table in one colour or several. A frosted finish softens the green and hides the ribs in the base. It ships in a single carton and one person can carry it in. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
One curve from backrest to floor belongs with our art furniture; green acrylic deepening at the folds leads to our acrylic sculptures, and a chair with no legs at all joins our organic sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
