Green & Yellow Tipped Cradle Resin Sculpture, 36cm, a curved emerald green form with inward-turning horns tipped in slate grey and amber-yellow, on a plain white background.
Green & Yellow Tipped Cradle Resin Sculpture - 36cm $2,09300
Description

This round cradle of emerald green resin dips to a deep belly and climbs to two horns that turn inward at their tips. One horn ends in a cap of dark slate grey, while the other glows amber-yellow, deepening to a honey-brown at its very top. Between them the green runs strongest along the outer wall and pales to a misty sea green across the inner face, and the walls stay clear enough to show their own curves through one another.

Emerald Green Between Slate and Amber Tips

The green belongs to the resin itself, not to a coat on its surface, which is why the emerald looks richest along the outer sweep of the belly and softens to a pale, cloudy green on the inside of the curve. At the ends the tint changes abruptly. The slate grey tip is dense and nearly opaque, a cool full stop, while the amber-yellow one is translucent and catches the light like a lamp left on in a window. A glassy polish covers every face, and fine highlights run along the edges of both horns.

On a desk, a side table or an open shelf it can be turned to show either horn, and the green changes with every angle. Backlight from a window or a lamp makes the amber-yellow tip shine and keeps the walls clear, whereas light from the front flattens both. A pale stone or white surface beneath carries the green out into the room, and dark wood deepens it towards bottle green. It rests steadily on the curve of its belly and needs no fixing.

The Green Cradle, Bespoke Tints and Packing

The standard build is 3–4 weeks and the bespoke build 5–6. The price covers one green cradle, sold on its own. As a commission the slate tip can be swapped for a second amber one, the green taken deeper or paler through the belly, and the cradle made at other sizes with its coloured tips drawn in proportion. It travels in a single box, cushioned under the belly with both horns kept free of the packing; lift it out with a hand under the green body, never by a horn. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

An emerald cradle tipped in slate grey and amber-yellow joins our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
