Green & White Cliff Face Resin Sculpture (91cm) by Giant Sculptures, textured rock form shifting from dark green base to frosted white peak, on a black rectangular base, plain white background.
Green & White Cliff Face Resin Sculpture - 91cm $2,90200
Description

One face is cut back into ridges and hollows while the back stays flat, so there is a front to this rock and only one. Dark green at the foot running to frosted white at the crown, with the change carried across the whole face. A long, low black block is included in the price.

A Run of Colour Crossing a Worked Face

A face worked this deep has two surfaces to light rather than one, and the graduation has to survive both: what is cut back catches differently from what stands proud, and the run is set to cross them at an angle. What is cut back and what stands proud take the light differently, so the run is set to cross both rather than to follow either. A frosted surface on a graded body does something a polished one cannot: it gives back the colour at the point the light lands rather than throwing a highlight, so the run survives being worked over. Frosted across the worked face and left plain behind it, so the two sides of the rock are finished differently on purpose.

It belongs on a sideboard where the worked face can be squared to the room. A dark wall behind it, so the white crown has something to be pale against. Front light and a little from above. Lit from behind it goes to outline and the graduation is gone. The green-to-white run reads across a room; the working of the face does not.

Moving Where the Colours Meet, and a Pallet at the Door

Ordinarily a standard piece needs 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. We will move where the colours meet, exchange the green, or cut the block to another plan. Raise where the white begins and the rock is drawn deeper beneath it, since the run needs room to change in. The stone beneath can be cut to another plan. Palleted in one crate, the rock and its block packed together. Three people and a trolley, hands under the block and not the face. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A cliff face cut back into ridges belongs to our organic sculptures; its green-to-white run sits within our resin sculptures, and a long, low surface suits it among our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
