Description

An upright ribbon of resin, clear and almost white through the upper loops and turning a deep, glassy green through the lower half. The two upper openings are neighbours, a narrow slot breaks the waist, and a tilted oval sits low. It is carried on the black marble base that comes with it.

Clear Above, Deep Green Below

A grade from clear to green reads like water deepening, and on a pierced ribbon it gives the four openings four different settings. The upper pair are framed in almost colourless resin and look like holes cut in ice; the slot at the waist sits where the green begins; the low oval is ringed in the deepest tone. The change from clear to green happens over the height of the piece with no line in it, and the green is part of the resin itself, so it holds at every edge.

It suits a sideboard where it meets the eye of someone standing, at 83cm with its marble, and a window to one side lifts the green. Against a pale wall the clear upper loops keep their edges; against dark timber they disappear and the green reads alone. It takes little depth and sits comfortably back against a wall.

The Green, the Grade, and Delivery

Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The green can be deepened toward bottle or lightened toward sea glass, and the point where it begins can be moved up or down the ribbon. A blue or teal can take its place. Another stone can replace the black marble. The slot at the waist can be widened to order. It ships in a foam shell fitted to the ribbon, the marble packed next to it, and two hands at the stem carry it out. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A ribbon clearing from deep green to ice belongs with our abstract sculptures; openings set in four depths of colour join it to our organic sculptures, and green that deepens toward the base belongs in our resin sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
