Description

A small arched abstract cast in blue resin. Its slim foot lifts into an S-shaped body that leans back and then forward, ending at the top in a rippled crest that tapers to a tip, while a short fin juts sideways near the bottom. The blue is dark at the foot and down the outer curve and pales to a sky blue across the fin and the hollow of the form. Black marble is included as its base.

Dark Blue Below, Sky Blue in the Hollow

The colour follows the form rather than a straight grade. Where the resin is dense, at the foot and along the outer edge, the blue is close to navy, and where the body opens into the hollow of the curve and out into the fin it clears to a pale, watery tone, so the shape is modelled by its own colour. The tint belongs to the resin itself rather than to a coating, and it will not chip or wear away. A wet-looking gloss is taken over every face, and each ripple of the crest holds a bright edge.

A hall console, a wide shelf or a sideboard, placed where it can be walked round, suits it well. Against a white wall the blue stays clean; beside warm wood it cools the room. A window to one side lights the pale fin and leaves the foot dark, and at night a small spotlight from above finds the crest. It looks right with glass, ceramics and blue-grey textiles.

Navy, Ice Blue, and How It Arrives

Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. The blue can be taken towards navy or eased to an ice blue, and the grade can be reversed so the crest is dark and the foot pale. The fin can be drawn out a little further. Clear, aqua, emerald, gloss black and inked versions exist too, alongside the original, marbled in black and white, each as its own piece. It is crated small with its block and goes into place without tools or help. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
