In this console two squat rough black rock boulders carry a slab of clear resin whose top is rippled, whose edge is torn, and through which gold flecks are scattered, and two black peaks stand on the slab, one directly above each boulder. The eye follows each mass down through the clear sheet to the boulder beneath it.
The slab is modelled with its torn edge and rippled face in the mould, and the gold is scattered through the pour and held at the depth it was placed. Neither boulder matches the other, and both are worked in fibreglass to their own modelled outline. Every peak is positioned against the boulder under it and not against the ends of the slab, and holding both of those relationships true at the same time is where the care goes. The boulders are finished flat on top so the slab beds across their whole face.
It is a console for a long wall or a room divider that can be seen from both sides. Both peaks sit over their boulders, so the piece has a definite front, and the two boulders bear on broad footprints, which makes it steadier on a soft floor than a pedestal base would be. The slab overhangs both, so allow for the reach beyond them.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. Most of it is the boulder support. There are three open questions. The boulders are drawn to your own outlines, the peak count can be taken to one or three, and the gold can be left out for a plain slab. Neither the slab length nor the boulder height is fixed. Batched together, the pieces are made so the scatter of the gold through the slab corresponds. The two peaks and the boulder tops each travel boxed apart from the slab, and four people set the slab down once both boulders are level. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Gold flecks scattered through a slab resting on two black boulders make this console one of our art furniture; the rough stone forms belong to our organic sculptures, the flecked top to our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
