A square pillar in clear resin, offered in three heights. Each face is gently waved rather than flat, gold flecks are scattered through the body, and the faces carry a gilded bird-and-branch relief: one bird on a bare branch above a low mound near the top, and beneath it a flowering branch with two more birds on it. A seated guardian lion faces forward from a separate cap block at the top.
Two things are happening on the surface at once. The relief stands proud of the face and is gilded, so it reads as a dark gold drawing on a near-colourless ground, with the branches drawn thin and the birds worked solid enough to show a beak and a tail. Behind and around it the flecks sit at every depth in the material, denser in some passages than others, so the ground is never quite blank. The waved faces then do something the relief cannot: because no face is a true plane, the highlight runs as a soft vertical band and moves as you cross the room, which keeps a tall clear object from looking like a length of extrusion. The lion on the cap is the one figurative element, its curled mane fully gilded and its body left clear so it does not read as a solid gold ornament sitting on glass.
These are hall and threshold pieces, and they work in twos. Each pillar stands on a narrow square, so two can flank a doorway, a stair foot or a fireplace on very little floor. At 140cm the tallest reads as a floor piece and stands on its own, while the other two heights sit near a seated visitor's eye on a console, a wide shelf or a low plinth. Whichever height, the relief only registers close to, so set them where people pass near them, not across a large room. Indoor use only.
Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. A set of three is matched for fleck density rather than made independently. The three heights are the size options, all on the same square plan, so the proportion changes with the height: the tallest is a slender column and the lowest reads closer to a block. The gilding is the other decision. The relief and the lion are supplied gilded as here, or left in clear resin with only the flecks carrying the gold, which is a much quieter object and the better answer where the walls are already busy. The relief itself can be run as the bird and branch here, as bamboo, or as plain waved faces with no relief at all. Each pillar is boxed upright in a fitted case with the cap block packed apart and located by hand on site, and one person can carry the lowest while the tallest is a two-person lift. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A lion pillar with gilded birds up its faces belongs with our abstract sculptures; a pair to frame a doorway leads to our indoor sculptures, and gilded relief sealed in the resin joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
