Description

A tall frosted rock form, white and softly translucent, whose silhouette climbs in lobes and hollows to a hooked crest at the top, scattered with small amber inclusions like seeds held in ice. It stands on a rectangular stainless steel block finished in gold, set under the broad foot of the form.

A White Rock Climbing to a Hooked Crest

The form is drawn the way a scholar's rock is chosen, for an outline that never settles. It narrows and swells as it rises, opens into a hollow on one side and closes on the other, and finishes in a crest that hooks back over the body. The frosting softens all of that into a single white mass by day and lets light glow through the thinner edges. The amber inclusions are set into the resin while it is cast, so they sit at different depths and read as specks suspended inside the body rather than as marks on its face.

It stands on a hall or living-room floor, or on a low plinth, where its silhouette can be seen against a plain wall. Light from one side shows the lobes and hollows of the outline, and a window behind it makes the frosted edges glow. Leave room around it so that the crest is not crowded.

The Outline, the Inclusions, and the Gold Block

Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The outline can be redrawn, the inclusions made denser, sparser or another colour, and the white frosting kept or replaced with a clear polish. The steel block is finished in gold as standard and can be made in brushed steel or black instead, and its proportions are confirmed with the order. It is crated upright with the form bedded in foam and the block packed on its own, and two people set it in place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

An outline that narrows, swells and hooks back belongs with our organic sculptures; white frosting holding amber specks suits our resin sculptures, and a rock form on a gold block joins our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
