This long, knee-high bench is a frosted resin form shaped like a water-worn stone, its top gently dished and its sides softly faceted. Near one end a slim stainless steel upright stands in an opening in the top, the one vertical line on a piece that otherwise lies long and low to the floor.
The bench is cast in resin and frosted over its whole surface, so it reads as pale, soft stone, and its sides are worked into broad shallow facets like a stone worn by water. The opening for the upright is formed in the top and finished smooth, so the steel rises cleanly out of the seat. The underside is levelled so the long form sits true along its whole length, which on a bench of this size is the slow part of the work. Every face is brought to the same even frost, the underside included.
It is made for a lobby, an atrium, a hotel or a covered courtyard, where people can sit along its length. The upright marks one end, so the bench reads well set lengthways along a wall or a window with that end towards a corner. It needs open floor around it and a hard level floor under it. The frosted surface hides marks, which suits a busy public space. Indoor use only.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. Any length can be made, the frosting can be taken to a polish or left heavier, and the resin can be tinted. The facets on the sides can be worked deeper or left softer. The steel upright can be left off, with its opening closed over, for a bench with nothing standing above the seat. The bench travels in one crate, padded along its length, and it is set in place by a team of six. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A frosted bench shaped like a long stone, marked at one end by a steel upright, lends our art furniture a seat for a lobby; its worn stone outline suits our organic sculptures, the frosted mass our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
