Description

The Frosted Ice-Textured Peak Resin Sculpture is sold one piece at a time in four sizes, and each size is a summit of its own rather than one form at four scales: in order of size, a low, broad mound, a single rounded peak, a broad peak with a flat-topped shoulder and a tall spire with a rounded shoulder at one side. The surface is worked to a frosted, ice-like texture that scatters light instead of transmitting it, so the mass reads as a solid block of frozen water rather than as a casting.

Four Sizes, Each Its Own Summit

Every size of this frosted resin peak is cast individually and then textured by hand across its whole face, which is why no two carry the same pattern of facets and hollows. The texture is cut into the surface rather than moulded into it, so the ridges hold a crisp arris where a moulded finish would soften. The body is cast solid, and the frosting is worked deeply enough that light entering one face is scattered before it reaches the other.

The 124cm peak stands alone on a floor, in an atrium or at the end of a gallery run, and the low, broad mound suits a console, a wide shelf or a reception counter. Two or three sizes ordered together read as a range of summits across a run of furniture. The frosted surface holds its own against dark timber and stone, where a transparent piece would disappear into them. Indoor use only.

Frosting Depth, From a Light Scatter to Opaque

Allow 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The texturing is hand work across the entire surface of every size. Alternative sizes are offered, and the depth of the frosting can be specified from a light scatter to a full opaque break. Bespoke summit profiles are worked from a brief or from a survey of a particular range. Each size travels in its own fitted crate and should be lifted by its body rather than its apex. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

This frosted summit belongs with our resin sculptures for its material, with our organic sculptures for its mountain outline, and with our indoor sculptures because it is made to be kept inside.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.

Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
