A frosted arch in green resin, matt all over, with the family's flared top, fin and splayed foot. The frost gives the green a soft, velvety surface, lighter where the form thins and deeper in the body, and black marble below carries the piece and comes with it. It reads as a soft green shape from across a room.
Frosting takes the gloss away and leaves the colour, so this arch is read by its shape and its tone rather than by highlights. The green is soft and even, a little lighter where the form thins, and the matt surface holds the colour like felt. Without reflections, the outline of the form becomes the whole drawing. The frost is even over every face, the inside of the flare included. It has a calm, modern character and sits happily among living plants.
A study desk or a console, where it can be seen in soft light. Pale walls suit the matt green; against dark paint it loses its edge. It sits well among plants, timber and linen, and in a room with north light. A spotlight would make the frost look chalky, so a shaded lamp suits it better.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. The frost can be polished away for a glossy green, and the green can be mixed deeper or paler. The black stone can become white. Glossy versions in aqua, blue and amber are sold individually, and a frosted pair in different greens can be cast together. The fin can be softened further. A small crate carries it with its block; a single pair of hands places it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Soft, frosted castings in quiet colours are found in our resin sculptures, and the glossy colourways of the same arch sit in our organic sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
