Frosted Blue Ribbed Leg Resin Dining Chair - 72cm
Frosted Blue Ribbed Leg Resin Dining Chair - 72cm $3,23900
Description

A dining chair in frosted resin, matt all over and blue in three strengths. The back is a tall panel with rounded top corners in a pale, misty blue, almost white at its centre, and a band of strong cobalt runs right across the front of the seat. Below it four legs in a dusty mid-blue splay slightly outward, smooth at the top and ringed in close bands towards the floor.

Misty Blue Back Above a Cobalt Seat Edge

Frosting takes the gloss off the resin and turns its colour soft and powdery, so the three blues read as calm, even fields rather than as glassy depths. The cobalt along the seat edge is a firm, saturated line between the pale back above and the legs below. The legs keep a quieter blue, and the ringed bands near each foot give the only texture on an otherwise smooth surface. Back, seat and legs meet without a visible join, and every edge is rounded.

Standing 72cm, it is a dining chair in the full sense, comfortable at a table, a desk or a dressing table. The misty blue is gentle enough for a bedroom or a study and smart in a dining room with white or grey walls. In strong daylight the frost glows softly instead of sparkling, which keeps the chair restful. Indoor use only.

Frost, the Balance of Blues, and Delivery

Order a standard piece and it takes 3–4 weeks; order it bespoke and it takes 5–6. A clear gloss can replace the frost, and the balance of blues can be changed, from one colour throughout to a white back with only the seat edge in cobalt. The ring-turning can be kept at the foot, extended up the leg, or left off. Chairs ordered together are cast in one session so their blues agree. Each travels in its own crate, needs no assembly, and one person can move it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Made for everyday dining, this chair is listed with our art furniture; the frosted blue casting puts it among our resin sculptures, and its quiet presence fits our indoor sculptures as well.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
