Broad smooth blades curl around one another in frosted aqua on this cast resin sculpture, going from almost white at the edges to a deep teal where they gather. The blades are wide and shallow, each tapering to a point like a leaf rather than breaking up like spray, and each passes over one neighbour and under the next so that no single one of them is on top. A broad band of the same frosted aqua sweeps round them at the foot. The frosting is even over all of them, which is what keeps the colour reading as something inside the material and not on it.
An overlap is where a frosted finish usually fails. Two surfaces meeting at a narrow angle cannot both be reached with the same stroke, and the gap between them comes up glossier than the open faces on either side, which then reads as a line of dirt. Here the frost runs evenly into every overlap, so the narrow angles where one blade passes over the next are as soft as the open faces, and nothing reads as a line. The band sweeping round the foot is frosted to the same grain, and the aqua deepens towards the centre, where the blades gather most thickly, so the whole piece reads as one soft surface from every side.
It is the same piece from every side, so it wants a position that can be walked round rather than one against a wall. It has no front and no best angle, and put into a corner it gives up the quality that separates it from a wall piece. It is wide and low enough to sit on a table without dominating it, and it reads well from directly above, which makes it unusually good on a low table in a seating group. Daylight suits it better than a lamp: the frosting spreads whatever falls on it, and a single hard source just makes one blade bright and leaves the rest flat.
Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. The blades pass over and under one another and each has to keep its even frosted surface where they touch. The blade count is set at order, a polished finish replaces the frosted one on request, and the colour is dropped for a white version. The spread is drawn to suit the table it is going on, and the teal at the centre can be deepened or taken almost out. Each blade is faced separately where it passes over its neighbour, and it leaves in one crate, wider than it is deep, from which it is lifted out flat and set down in one movement. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Blades curling round one another is organic sculpture; the frosted aqua is resin sculpture; and a piece with no back is indoor sculpture that can be walked round.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
