Equilibrium is a handmade fibreglass sculpture standing 71cm tall, pairing a standing horse with a reclining figure who balances a polished blue sphere overhead. Finished in a verdigris patina, it works as a floor-edge, console or sideboard piece and rewards a second look as the eye follows its line of balance.
The composition sets stillness against motion. The horse stands calm and grounded while the figure stretches back in a weightless arc, the blue sphere held at the high point of the curve as a single bright focal note. The verdigris finish is layered by hand so that the fibreglass takes on the tonal depth of weathered bronze, shifting from green through to a cooler blue-grey across its surface, while staying light enough to place and move with ease.
It suits contemporary living rooms, studies and considered office spaces, where its quiet sense of movement invites closer attention, and it sits comfortably alongside both warm and cool colour schemes. This piece is finished for indoor display only.
Equilibrium is produced on commission, which is why the finish can be matched to your room. Every piece is handmade to order, with a standard lead time of around 3–4 weeks, or 5–6 weeks for bespoke commissions.
Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops. The fibreglass is cast by hand in our own workshops, start to finish. We can finish it in deep teal, soft grey or warm cream, or rework the proportions to suit the setting. Larger commissions are quoted individually, including delivery and placement.
