The Electroplated Boots & Fist Sunset Brimble Figure stands 52cm tall — a vivid, character-led contemporary sculpture of a stylised boy in a sunny yellow cap, jade-green shirt, and bubblegum-pink trousers, finished with electroplated metallic boots and a chrome-mirrored ball cradled in his hand. The face wears a wide, mischievous grin, and the entire piece sits in that sweet spot between collectible toy art and gallery-grade designer sculpture. The contrast of saturated colour blocks against true metallic plating gives the figure a playful, candy-pop energy that punches well above its 52cm scale.
This Sunset Brimble pop art sculpture is cast in premium high-density resin from a single master mould, capturing every fold of the cap, the cuff of the trousers, the laces of the boots, and the soft cartoon proportions of the face. After casting, the figure is hand-finished in a layered automotive-grade paint process — the yellow cap, green shirt, and pink trousers are sprayed, sanded, and lacquered to a deep glossy depth. The boots and clenched fist holding the silver ball are then electroplated, not painted — a genuine metallic plating process that delivers a true rose-gold and chrome reflectivity you cannot achieve with paint alone. The mirrored sphere is similarly chrome-plated for a high-shine finish that catches light from across a room. Every layer is hand-checked before the final clear coat is applied.
At 52cm, the Brimble designer sculpture is sized for shelf-top, console, plinth, or display-cabinet placement. It works beautifully in a child's designer bedroom, a collector's cabinet, a contemporary living room with a playful palette, a creative studio, or a retail and hospitality space looking for character. Indoor display only — the electroplated finish should not be exposed to weather.
Every Brimble figure is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not hold stock. Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops supporting production at scale.
Customisation is offered. Alternative sizes, custom colourways, different electroplated tones (gold, rose-gold, chrome, gunmetal), alternative outfit palettes, or a fully bespoke character designed from a brief or reference can all be commissioned. Contact us before ordering.
