Deep Teal Splash & Branching Crest Resin Sculpture, 102cm, with pierced ribbon curls and arching fins on a round base, shown on a plain white background.
Deep Teal Splash & Branching Crest Resin Sculpture - 102cm $3,24100
Description

This splash is teal all the way through, a deep sea-green teal that darkens almost to bottle green in the folds at its foot. Its hollow is fringed with sharp points of uneven height around a knot of narrow arches, and one side climbs in a wide curl that turns over to run across the top as a pierced ribbon with small fins along its spine. A slender post joins that ribbon to the arches inside the hollow. From the ribbon's end rises a crest of two limbs meeting in a ring, crowned by a tall tine with two stubby prongs, and low down a long reach stretches out to the right and splays into three points.

Sea-Green Teal Through Every Limb and Tine

Colour carried right through a piece changes how its form is read. With no clear passages to lighten it, this splash is drawn by the tone of the teal alone: where several surfaces overlap, in the folds of the hollow and the twists of the ribbon, the green closes almost to black, and where a single limb stands free against the wall it lightens to a bright sea-glass teal. Those shifts follow every turn of the curl, the arches of the knot and the ring of the crest, so the silhouette stays legible from across a room. Every surface is polished to a wet-looking gloss, and the highlights along the edges are the only white on it.

Strong, cool colour like this holds its own in a darker room: a study lined with books, a dining room in deep green or navy, a library with timber panelling. Set on the floor beside a tall bookcase or in a corner of such a room, its 102cm brings the tall tine close to the eye level of someone seated nearby, and a picture light or a low lamp to one side sets the edges glinting. Brass, walnut and velvet all suit it. It is for indoor display.

Mixing the Teal, Adding Tines and Shipping

Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The teal can be mixed deeper or brighter, or held back so that the crest clears to colourless while the hollow stays dark. Extra tines can be drawn on the crest, the long reach extended, and the scale set to suit the space. The case it travels in is braced around the crest and padded under the hollow, and two pairs of hands should take it out from below. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Sea-green teal from the hollow to the crowning tine marks this splash out for our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
