Description

Smoky deep green runs through this side table from its round top to the drops that end its legs. The top has a soft rolled edge, and from beneath it the resin seems to pour downward into four legs that thin as they fall and swell into rounded drops on the floor, while short drips hang free between them, each halted at its own height.

A Smoky Green Table That Seems to Melt

A single deep tint makes the form the subject. Where the resin is thick, at the rim of the top and in the swollen drops at the floor, the green goes almost to bottle black; where it thins along the legs it clears to a soft olive, so every leg is drawn in light and dark down its length. The free drips are each a different length and none lines up with another, which keeps the underside restless. Polished all over, the table holds bright points of reflection along each curve.

At 45cm it sits by a sofa arm or a reading chair as a small table. The dark green suits timber floors, plants and dark leather, and it reads best where light comes through it from a window. Leave the space beneath it empty, and stand it on a plain hard floor so the drops at its feet show clearly. Indoor use only.

Tint, Drips and Delivery

Where the piece is standard the build is 3–4 weeks, and where it is bespoke 5–6. The green can be taken deeper towards black or lighter towards sage, and the number of free drips can be changed at order. The top can be left plain or carry darker swirls cast into it, and the rolled edge can be made fuller or slimmer. Several made at once share the same green. It is packed with every drip supported, and one person can carry it into place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
