The Deep Brown Suit Astro Devil Sculpture is an 80cm contemporary astronaut statue that twists the classic space-suit silhouette into something far more characterful. A horned helmet rises from the familiar astronaut form, paired with glowing yellow circular eyes and a reflective visor finished in metallic silver. The deep brown suit grounds the piece in a richer, earthier palette than the usual pop-art brights — leather-like in tone, with sculpted panelling, piping and harness detail running across the torso. At 80cm, this is a tabletop or plinth-scale giant astronaut sculpture, sized for shelves, consoles and curated display corners.
The body of this Astro Devil sculpture is cast in premium resin — the material of choice for holding the fine surface detail across the suit's complex panel lines, stitching texture and the sculpted horns rising from the helmet. The horns are integrated into the helmet form rather than bolted on, giving the piece a single, confident silhouette. The visor is finished with a genuine metallic electroplated treatment — real reflective plating applied directly to the resin, not a painted substitute — producing a mirror-like silver that catches surrounding light. The yellow circular eyes glow out from beneath the visor as the focal accent, while the deep brown suit is hand-painted in layered application by our artisans to give depth and a subtly worn, leather-suggestive finish.
An 80cm pop art astronaut in this richer brown palette works where louder colourways might overwhelm — studies, libraries, design-led home offices, collector shelves, boutique hospitality vignettes and contemporary retail displays. The warm brown sits beautifully against cream, stone, walnut, brass and leather interiors, while the silver visor and yellow eyes keep the piece visually alive. Indoor display only.
Every astronaut sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Customisation is offered. Alternative suit colourways, alternative visor finishes, alternative sizes (from 60cm up to 210cm+), and fully bespoke astronaut space sculpture commissions designed from a brief or reference image are all possible. Contact us before ordering.
