A deep blue wave that breaks into a crest at either end, with a short spire of fingers standing between them. The blue runs through every part of it, darkest along the foot, where it is close to navy, and lightening up the crests to a paler blue at the tips, so the whole length reads as one body of water. The two crests are not matched: one leans further forward than the other and carries more fingers, and the spire between them stops well below both.
A tint carried through every part of a piece has nowhere to hide. A graded wave can let its colour thin away before the difficult passages; here every finger and every edge holds the blue, densest along the foot where the water gathers and paler in the crests and fingertips, where the shapes thin out against the room. That puts the burden on the drawing. Each opening through the crests has to sit where it lets the wall behind show through, because those small windows are what keep a long, dark body of water from reading as solid.
A deep blue piece holds its own against a pale wall and sinks into a dark one, so it belongs against bare plaster, white paint or a window. With light behind it the crests turn a brighter blue while the foot stays dark, and the openings show as points of light. A sideboard against a pale wall is the straightforward answer, and a long console in a hall works as well. It is long and shallow, so what it asks for is length of surface and not depth.
A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. The blue runs into every finger, so every edge has to be finished well enough to carry the colour cleanly. The shade can be taken darker or brighter, the overall length chosen, and the spire between the crests carried up level with them or left off altogether. The lean of each crest is set at order, and the two can be drawn to match where a more formal piece is wanted. It travels on its back in a single case with the crests faced separately and the spire packed against the foot, and it is lifted straight out and stood up with nothing to put together. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A long wave tinted deep blue from its foot to its fingertips finds its way into our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
