This bench sets a cream seat on legs of carved clear acrylic. The seat is a long upholstered cushion in cream, piped along its bottom edge and slightly domed across the top. It rests on a clear acrylic rail, and below that two legs carry the whole thing, each cut as a scroll: a curve that turns out at the top, back in at the waist and out again into a flat foot. The acrylic is polished on every face and the cut edges catch light as bright lines.
The legs are the piece and they are cut rather than cast. Each is a scroll: a curve that turns out at the top, back in at the waist and out again into a flat foot, and the whole profile is taken through the full thickness of the acrylic so the leg reads as a slice cut from some far bigger form. Every face is polished, and because the material is clear the cut edges catch light as bright lines that trace the curve. Above them a clear rail runs the length of the bench and the upholstered seat sits on it, piped along its bottom edge and slightly domed. The seat is the only soft element and the only opaque one, which keeps the legs legible from across a room.
Its natural places are the foot of a bed, a hall, or the wall of a dressing room. The scrolled legs are the whole design and they read from the side, so it should stand clear rather than be pushed into a corner. Cream upholstery wants a room where it will not be walked past with wet coats. It is light enough for two people to move easily. Indoors.
Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The scrolled legs are what fills the time. At order, three things are open. The covering on the seat is selected by you, the acrylic is offered tinted, and the scroll profile can be drawn tighter or opened out. The overall length is quoted to your own figure. Seat height and overall length are quoted to your own figures. Put the whole order in at once and the curve given to the two legs carries across every piece. The crate is packed to keep the two scrolled legs and the seat edge clear, and it takes two people to move. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Two scroll legs carved from clear acrylic tie this bench to our acrylic sculptures; with its cream seat it doubles as seating from our art furniture, and the drawn line of each scroll suits our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
