Description

The body is one mass of cream and white marbled resin, waisted: it flares out from a narrow foot to a thick rolled rim that overhangs the whole way round, so the piece reads as a solid block from across a room and as a shell from beside it. The marbling drifts in soft grey-brown veils through the pale ground rather than running in lines.

A Body That Flares Out and Pulls Back In

The marbling sits inside the material rather than on its surface, and a chipped arris shows the same veiling underneath. No two castings carry the same drift of it. The rolled rim is the difficult part: it overhangs the body the whole way round and has to hold a constant projection through a plan that is nowhere straight. Every face is polished, the underside of the overhang included, because at counter height that is the face a seated person looks at.

Long and standing at counter height, it serves as a reception counter or a bar, and it needs a run of floor it can be walked round rather than a wall to sit against. The rim overhangs, so allow for it when measuring a corner, and the veining reads best under light coming from above rather than across the body.

The Veining, the Rim, and Getting It Through a Door

Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. Ordering settles three things. The veining can be run stronger or dropped for a plain cream, the rim projection is yours to set, and the body can be built straighter where less flare is wanted. Neither the counter length nor the overall height is fixed. Order more than one together and the drift of the veining round the body is matched across them. It comes on a purpose-built pallet rather than in a crate, with the rolled top rim and the narrow foot boxed clear, and the route in wants measuring before the delivery date is set.   • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
