Water thrown up out of a shallow bowl into a ring of separate jets, each one rising at its own angle and ending in a single droplet. Entirely colourless, so the piece is made of nothing but the light that each jet throws at its neighbours. Nothing is supplied under it; the bowl the jets rise from is cast with them and is the foot.
A splash is the one water form with no continuous surface at all, so the piece is held together by the arrangement of the jets and by nothing else. No two jets are the same length or lean the same way, and the gaps between them are as considered as the jets are, because an even ring would read as a crown of spikes rather than as water. Every jet ends in a droplet a few millimetres across, and the material has to carry each one on a stem that is thinner still. Polished everywhere, including between jets where nothing will reach once it is set down.
A dining table, a long console or an island. It is broader than it is high and wants a surface rather than a floor. Set it against something dark. On a white ground the jets stop reading individually and the crown becomes one grey ring. A single source above throws the jets' shadows across the surface under it, which is half the effect. The ring reads from the door and the droplets are entirely a close matter.
Production takes approximately 3–4 weeks for a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. More jets are thrown or fewer, a tint is run into the bowl, and the crown is opened wider. Open the crown wider and the jets are lengthened with it, since they spring from one rim and share its circumference. A single piece, crated with the bowl bedded and every jet packed clear of its neighbour. Two people, both hands under the bowl, and no jet should ever take weight. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A ring of colourless jets thrown up from a shallow bowl belongs to our organic sculptures; each jet ending in its droplet joins our resin sculptures, and a broad surface rather than a floor is where it rests among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
