This cast resin lamp table carries its small top on a branching stem. The top is a lobed disc, dished across its face, with a soft irregular outline and a row of shallow hollows pressed into the surface. It is carried on a stem modelled as a branch: uneven in section, twisting as it rises, with short stubs where limbs have been cut back. The stem grows out of a rounded foot that reads as a weathered rock, wide and low on the floor. All three parts are one continuous piece of colourless resin, and the branch is the thinnest section in it.
Three quite different things are one continuous piece of material here. The top is a lobed dish with a soft outline and a row of shallow hollows pressed into it. The stem is modelled as a branch, uneven in section, twisting as it rises, with the stubs of cut limbs left on it. The foot is a rounded weathered mass sitting wide and low on the floor. Nothing between them is a joint. The branch is the thinnest section in the piece and it carries the whole top, which is why the section is worked full at the point where it leaves the foot. Everything is colourless, so the whole table reads as an outline and takes its colour from the floor.
At 71cm it sits above side-table height, which makes it a lamp table beside a chair or a hall piece rather than something to put a drink on from a low seat. Colourless resin means it takes its tone from the floor and nearly disappears against a window. The branch stem is the fine detail and it wants light from the side to be read at all. The rounded foot is wide and will not tuck in. Indoors.
From order, a standard piece runs to 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission to 5–6. The branch stem sets the pace here. You settle three things. The resin is offered tinted, the top can be cut to another outline, and the stem is modelled differently on every piece. The overall height is settled at order. Both the top span and the overall height are yours to set. The shape the stem takes will only agree between pieces that were made in the same order. Packed with the lobed top and the narrow stem shielded, it needs two people at the door. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A branch rising from a rock to hold a lobed dish belongs with our contemporary and modern sculptures; holding a lamp by an armchair it serves among our art furniture, and in a hall among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
