A cube sculpture in deep cobalt acrylic, square on every face and made as a five-sided hollow box with thin walls. Five faces and an open bottom, so the inside of the far walls is visible through the near ones as a second and much deeper blue, and the object has a hollow you can see into without being able to reach it. The corners read as fine dark lines where two thicknesses of material overlap, and they are the only drawing on it.
The wall against the width of the face is a deliberate proportion and it is what makes the colour work. Thinner and the blue goes weak and the corners disappear; thicker and the box becomes nearly opaque and there is no second wall to see. Holding that thickness even across five faces is the difficulty, because a thin patch goes bright and a thick one goes muddy, and on a translucent body both are visible from either side. The eight corners are where material gathers and they hold up the work, and the underside is brought up to the standard of the faces anybody will look at, because the hollow is on show from below. The top is set level with the walls so there is nothing to see down into.
A cobalt cube of this size dominates whatever room it is in, and nothing else in that room should be trying to. On a plain low table, a broad console, an island or the floor beside a pale chair it works; put it on a figured rug next to a coloured sofa and it simply loses. At 40cm the floor suits it as well as a surface does, where it is met from above and the paler top face joins the view. Light from above and behind is what drives colour through the walls and makes the far ones read; front light leaves it looking like a solid blue box. Give it a hard level surface, since a cube reports any lean against the room.
Ours is a 3–4 week build as standard, and a 5–6 week build when the commission is bespoke. Size and colour are the variables: the cube can be made to other sizes, and the colour comes as this deep cobalt, a smoke, a green, an amber or clear. A closed six-sided version is available, which is a different object: the open underside is what lets you see the far walls. Carry it by two opposite faces with flat hands, never by an edge. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A deep cobalt box of five faces open at the foot, it has a place in our geometric sculptures, our acrylic sculptures and our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
