The stag in this cast resin sculpture walks with its head raised and turned a little out of line, and above it the rack is the largest thing on the piece: a pair of long beams sweeping back over the shoulders with about a dozen tines between them, reaching most of the way to the haunch. The body below is modelled plainly and the legs are slender for the height. Everything is optically clear and polished.
A rack of this spread changes what the neck has to be. The beams reach back over the body, so their weight sits behind the skull rather than above it, and the neck is therefore cut with a deeper section at the poll than the animal's own proportions would give it - the extra is taken out along the underside of the throat, where it cannot be seen against the line. Each tine is separate, undercut where it leaves the beam, and in a clear material a tine is read twice, once directly and once through the beam behind it. They are set out in opposed pairs so the rack is symmetrical from the front even though no two tines are the same length.
At 150cm the head is at eye level, so this is a floor piece and it wants the space the rack needs: a hall, a landing or the open side of a big room, with headroom to spare and nothing within a beam's reach. It reads from the front, where the rack is symmetrical, and turns into a silhouette from the side. Against a window the body fills with light and the rack draws itself in outline; against a dark wall the whole animal comes forward.
In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. Rack spread is settled at order and can be brought in considerably for a room with less width, or taken off entirely for a hind. The resin will take a green, a pale rose, a smoke or an amber, and a frosted body is offered where the polish is too bright. Several deer at one scale can be ordered to stand together. It arrives in one crate standing, with the rack cased separately and seated on site; lift under the barrel with both hands and keep clear of the legs and the beams. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A stag walking beneath a wide rack belongs with our deer statues; long beams swept back towards the haunch lead to our animal sculptures, and a clear body drawn in light joins our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
