Two leafed arms of branching leave a common foot at the right and are carried out together to one side, ending at different distances from it. Colourless throughout, which leaves every fork to be found by its own edge and nothing else. Both arms rise from one foot and nothing is supplied under it. The foot is cut square to the floor, and the whole spread is carried from it.
Almost everything about this piece is decided by what it has to pass through to get into a room. The spread exceeds the height and the arms are the widest part, so they are drawn out from the foot to one side, one above the other, and the spread is quoted before the height. Branching drawn this fine in an uncoloured body is held together by where it thickens: the two arms are heaviest exactly where they leave the foot and finest at the tips, and nothing about the colour tells you so. Polished the whole way out to every tip, left crisp rather than eased.
It needs space on a floor, and what has to be found for it is the spread rather than the height. A dark wall behind it, or the whole of the branching disappears into the ground behind it. Light from either side, low down, so the arms throw across one another instead of onto the wall. What the eye gets at a distance is the spread; the forking waits until you are close.
Expect 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks where the commission is bespoke. We will bring the spread in, thin the branching, or set the arms at another angle. Draw the arms in and the forking thins to match, because the branches hold their spacing rather than crowding. Palleted in one crate, and the spread is what sets the case rather than the height. Four people, and check the doorways first: the arms reach a frame well before anyone feels the weight. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear branching form grown from a single cut foot belongs to our organic sculptures; its colourless forks join our resin sculptures, and floor space measured for the spread takes it into our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
