This dining table is clear resin from top to foot. The top is a sheet of clear resin with a rippled water surface and an edge that flows rather than runs straight, and it stands on four legs each cast as an irregular column of water on its own spreading splash foot. No two legs are alike and none is a copy of another.
Each leg is modelled individually before its mould is taken, so the four differ from one another, and the splash feet are cast on rather than added. The feet do the levelling, and they have to: no two hand-modelled legs finish at the same length, so the final hours go on bringing the top back to a true plane. That wandering edge comes straight from the mould and is brought to a polish on both faces of the lip, because a clear top on clear legs is looked at from below as much as from above.
Eight can sit at it, and it asks for a room with an open path down each long side. The four legs stand in from the ends, so the two end seats are unobstructed, and the whole piece reads best on a dark floor where the legs separate from the ground rather than merging into it. A rug will swallow the splash feet and take the point of the base with them.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. The water leg work is the slow part. At order, three things are open. The leg count can be taken to six for a longer top, each leg form is drawn to order, and the top edge can be run straight instead of flowing. Top length and leg height are quoted to your own figures. Specify the whole group at once and the shape of each water leg is held through it. It travels top up on a purpose-built pallet with the flowing edge and the four splash feet boxed clear, and it is moved on the pallet to its position rather than carried to it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Four legs of frozen water under one rippled sheet give our art furniture a dining table to seat eight; its splashing forms suit our organic sculptures, and the clear body our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
