Clear Twin Ripple Four Leg Resin Dining Table - 300cm $30,31000
Description

This dining table is a long slab on a stadium plan whose upper face carries two separate fields of concentric rings, as though two stones had gone into the water at different points and their rings had met in the middle. The edge is left torn all round, and four slender clear legs of round tapering section stand in a line beneath it.

Two Ripple Centres in One Slab

The two ring fields are set out from two separate centres and worked into the upper mould face, and where they meet the rings have to run into one another rather than cross, which is the whole difficulty of the top. Casting so long a clear slab without a single trapped bubble is what sets the schedule. The legs stand in a line beneath rather than at the corners, which puts the load along the slab's own length, and the four of them are brought to one level together before it is bedded down.

The room has to allow for chairs pulled out on either side of it. The two ring centres fall at different points along the top, so where the table is placed decides which of them people sit around. Four legs in a line rather than at the corners leave both ends completely clear, so chairs can be drawn up there too.

The Two Centres, the Four Legs, and Delivery

Count on the difference between standard and bespoke: 3–4 weeks or 5–6. The twin ripple takes the bulk. Three decisions sit with you. The two ring centres can be placed anywhere along the top, or the whole face can be worked from a single one, and the leg count changes with the length. Tell us the stadium length and the leg taper. Put the whole order in at once and the spacing of the two centres carries across every piece. The stadium edge and the four legs are crated apart, because neither the slab nor the legs will pass a doorway assembled. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Two sets of rings meeting across a long clear slab belong with our organic sculptures; standing on four slender legs it seats a family in our art furniture, the slab one of our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
