Clear Trailing Leaf & Flying Bird Block Resin Sculpture - 29cm
Clear Trailing Leaf & Flying Bird Block Resin Sculpture - 29cm $3,23800
Description

Inside this square block of clear resin, fine dark stems trail down from the top edge, hung with slender, pointed green leaves that fall in loose, layered cascades. Small birds fly between them, pale grey with darker heads, their wings swept back and their forked tails spread, some climbing and others banking low. The faces are polished and the edges crisp and square, and each face gives the scene a new angle, so the stems and birds seem to multiply as you walk round it.

Birds in Flight Among Trailing Green Leaves

Imported clear resin forms the block and stays water-clear from face to face, so the leaves and birds can be followed in depth from any side. The trailing stems are made in PU resin, dark and thread-fine, and they hold their leaves in loose, overlapping strands like the long fronds of a riverside tree. The birds are small figures in soft grey and white with darker caps, each caught mid-flight at its own angle. A thick band of clear resin at the foot and crisp corners frame the whole scene.

At 29cm it fits neatly on a desk, a side table or a bookshelf, where it can be enjoyed from close by. Turned to a corner, it shows two faces at once and the birds appear to fly from one into the other. A pale wall behind it keeps the scene light and airy, and morning daylight brightens the greens. Indoor use only.

The Block, Commissions and Delivery to You

Delivery follows a 3–4 week build as standard, or a 5–6 week build if bespoke. One block makes up each order, and it is sold individually. On commission the foliage can take autumn colours, the birds can be fewer or more numerous, or the scene can be drawn around a single bird, and the block can be produced in other dimensions. The leaves can also hang from one side only for a quieter composition. It travels in a foam-lined box, and it should be lifted with a palm under each side. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Small birds flying through trailing green leaves in a clear square of resin make their way into our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
