Clear Tower Peak Mountain Cast Resin Sculpture - 72cm, a tower-shaped mountain peak with dark brown wisps through clear resin, shown on a plain white background.
Clear Tower Peak Mountain Cast Resin Sculpture - 72cm $2,56400
Description

Drawn as a tower rather than as a range, this colourless peak carries dark brown wisps through its lower body and up one flank. A single summit runs up the whole height with subsidiary ridges braced against it low down. Nothing is put under it, so the clear material, the wisps and the outline are the whole of what it has.

A Mountain Drawn as a Tower

That height on a plan that shallow is a proportion no real mountain has, and the object is the better for admitting it. What has to be got right is the section at mid-height, where the piece is carrying everything above it on the least material: too generous and the tower thickens into a slab, too fine and the whole thing reads as unstable whether or not it is. The low ridges are part of that calculation rather than decoration - they widen the foot without widening the silhouette, which is what lets the section above stay as narrow as it does.

At 72cm it fits where a wide piece could not: a narrow console, a return, the end of a run of shelves. Against a plain wall the tower reads as one line from the floor up; in front of a window it becomes a silhouette and the low ridges disappear. It stands high enough to be caught by a sleeve, so a surface away from the through route earns its place.

Height Against Plan, and Getting It There

Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. No real mountain stands at this proportion, and the section at mid-height is what makes it possible here. The proportion is drawn broader, the material takes a tint, and gold leaf is added to the pour. Broadening the plan gives a steadier object and takes away the one thing this piece is for, so the two are worth comparing at full size. It travels upright in a braced case with the summit sleeved and the low ridges bedded, and two people lift it by the foot. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A tower peak with dark wisps in its foot belongs with our organic sculptures; a narrow column of clear casting puts it in our resin sculptures, and a form met at eye level beside a doorway suits our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
