The top is a clear resin slab with a bubbled, frozen surface and an outline that wanders rather than running straight, and it stands on four legs cast as icicles, each spreading into a jagged foot on the floor. The material grades from colourless at the top to a strong aqua at the feet, so the colour gathers where the legs are thickest and the top stays almost invisible against a wall.
Each leg is modelled by hand before the mould is taken, so the icicles differ from one another and the feet spread differently on the floor. The grade from colourless to aqua is built up in the pour rather than sprayed on afterwards, which is why the colour sits inside the material and follows the section. The bubbled top is worked into the mould face. Levelling is done at the feet, since four hand-modelled legs never come out at exactly the same length, and the last of the work is spent getting the slab to sit true.
Its place is in a hall or on a landing, or behind a sofa, rather than anywhere people sit down to eat. Each foot breaks out into jagged points but stays inside the outline of the top, so it can stand close to a skirting, and it reads best with light behind it, where the aqua in the legs comes up and the top stays almost invisible.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. Most of it is the icicle leg work. Three choices are open. The point where the aqua begins can be set high or low in the legs, the number of legs can go to five for a longer top, and the top can be supplied colourless throughout. Top length and floor to top are each specified. Ask for several together if where the aqua begins in each leg needs to agree between them. It travels with the four icicle feet and the slab edge packed clear, and four people can place it. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Icicle legs in deepening aqua make this console a piece of our art furniture; the frozen top suits our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the whole table is shown with our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
