Clear Three-Section Mountain Range Resin Sculpture - 303cm
Clear Three-Section Mountain Range Resin Sculpture - 303cm $18,23500
Description

A mountain range in clear resin made in three sections that stand together as one landscape, a crowd of peaks rising across its whole length with a tall, slender spire right of centre. The peaks are textured and lightly misted, cast hollow with a thick wall, so each one holds light at its edges and reads as ice against a dark background.

Three Sections Read as One Range

A range on this scale is made in sections because one piece of this size could not be handled, and the art is in making the joins disappear. Each section is modelled with its neighbours in front of the sculptor, so that one ends where the next begins in the same line of rock, and the gaps between them read as valleys rather than as breaks. The peaks are cast hollow, which keeps each section light enough to move, and the walls are worked on the outside into a misted, textured skin that catches light along every ridge.

It needs a room of real size: a lobby, a long gallery wall, an atrium or the length of a reception area, where it can be taken in from a distance and walked along. The sections can stand closer together or further apart to suit the space. Light from behind or above brings the misted peaks forward, and in front of a dark wall the clear resin reads as a frozen range.

Arranging the Sections, and Installation

Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. The number of peaks, the height of the spire and the spacing of the sections are all set at order, and the resin can be tinted blue, green or smoke, or graded from clear at the foot to colour at the summits. Each section travels in its own crate, and setting the range in place takes a small team, who stand the sections and close the valleys between them to the agreed plan. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A crowd of peaks with one slender spire belongs with our organic sculptures; hollow-cast resin misted like ice suits our resin sculptures, and a range made for an atrium joins our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
