Description

A flame form in clear resin with teal gathered along its edges, in the hollows and down toward the foot, so the body stays light while the outline is drawn in colour. It rises and curls over at the top, and it is holed right through in several places. Black marble comes with it.

Teal Drawing the Edges of a Flame

Colour laid along the edges of a clear form outlines it the way a pen line does. Here the teal follows every lobe and every rim, and gathers in the hollows and at the foot, while the broad faces between stay almost clear. The flame therefore reads as a drawing from across a room and as glass close to. Its uppermost tongues carry only a trace of teal, which keeps the top light and the lean visible, and the openings are ringed in colour where they meet the edge.

At 76cm on its marble it reaches standing eye height on a long console. A pale wall behind sharpens the teal outline; daylight from one side brings up the colour in the hollows. Turn the tip's lean toward the room, and give it a little space on each side so the outline reads whole and clean.

Teal Depth, the Edges, and Delivery

A standard piece takes 3–4 weeks to make, and a bespoke commission 5–6. The teal can be deepened so it spreads further into the faces, or kept to a fine line at the edges, and it can be changed for blue or green. A lighter stone is available for the base. The lean is best turned once it is in place. It is crated in foam fitted to the flame with the marble boxed apart, and it is held by its broad lower body when lifted, clear of the tongues. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A clear flame outlined in teal is grouped with our abstract sculptures; colour gathered along lobes and rims joins it to our organic sculptures, and teal pooling in the hollows of clear resin suits our resin sculptures.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
