This colourless splash is heavy where it leaves its stone and thins without a break to fingers no wider than a pencil. From a churned foot one broad sweep of water curves up and over in a deep C, and above it the water climbs into an open loop with antler-like forks, a single wavy finger rising above everything. A second arm reaches out low to the other side and ends in a forked tip. It stands on a round drum of black marble, and nothing on the piece is tinted.
A taper that runs the whole height without a step is harder than it sounds, because there is no natural place to change the rate and every place you might is visible. The water has to come down continuously from something a hand cannot close round to something thinner than a pencil, heavy enough at every height to look as though it holds up what is above it and light enough to read as water rather than a column. Here the broad C at the foot gives the form its mass, the open loop above lightens it, and the single wavy finger at the top finishes the taper at its finest.
At this height it is met above the eye, so the underside of every arm is what gets seen. That is worth knowing before it is placed: the upper half is drawn to be read from below and looks ordinary from a balcony. At 155cm on its stone it suits a hall, a stairwell or any room with height, and a low ceiling does not. The round stone takes a generous circle of floor, which is more than most people expect from a piece this slender.
Give it 3–4 weeks as a standard piece, or 5–6 weeks as a bespoke commission. It thins without a break from the heavy foot to the single fine finger at the top, so it tapers the entire way. The height is cut to order, the foot alone is tinted, and the stone beneath is cut to match. The number of fingers is set with the height so the crown stays in proportion at any size. The stone and the splash are crated apart, the drum laid flat and the splash braced upright, and the splash is stood on the drum once the drum is in place. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A form that thins the whole way up is organic sculpture; the untinted casting is resin sculpture; and fingers this fine keep their edges under indoor sculpture conditions.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
