A swept double fold in clear cast resin: an upper arm curling over and away to one side above a second sweep that rises from a narrow waist and flares out again, the two meeting at the middle of the piece. Colourless from foot to crest, so the piece takes its tone from whatever stands behind it and carries none of its own. The marble beneath is part of what is bought.
A sweep that carries this far beyond its foot is held by the waist between the two folds, and that waist is drawn heavier than the drawing alone would ask. Everything above it is thin, which is why the outline stays a line rather than becoming a mass. The resin is what makes a sweep this size readable at all: a colourless body returns the room along every curve, and the curve is the whole of the drawing. Polished over both folds, with the underside of the upper arm taken to the grade of its top face.
Floor work for a lobby or a wide hall, with room on every side to get past it. The wall behind it should be plain and dark; a colourless sweep against glazing has almost no edge at all. A single source to one side runs the length of both folds; flat light leaves the whole of it grey. The eye is carried up the first fold and over the one above it, which is the order the piece is drawn to be read in.
Our workshops take 3–4 weeks over a standard piece and 5–6 over a bespoke commission. Say the word and the upper fold is opened further, the amber is run through the body instead, or the marble is cut to another plan. Open the fold further and the stone beneath grows with it, because what the base answers is the reach and not the height. The same form is made in a translucent amber that carries the light rather than returning it. One crate on a pallet, the marble laid and levelled before the casting is lowered onto it. Four people. It is the reach of the upper fold that decides the lift, not the weight. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
Sweeping forms on this scale are collected in our organic sculptures, colourless castings in our resin sculptures, and floor pieces for a lobby or a wide hall in our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
