Clear Straw Sliver Clustered Bridge Rock Resin Sculpture - 51cm
Clear Straw Sliver Clustered Bridge Rock Resin Sculpture - 51cm $2,29300
Description

This low, wide rock of imported clear resin takes the form of a cluster of angular blocks, rising to a stacked crown in the middle with knobbly shoulders on both sides. Underneath, a wide opening spans the foot between two separate feet, so the whole rock reads as a rough stone bridge. A few pale, straw-coloured slivers, thin and twisted, are held in its clear windows, with small crumbs of the same tone gathered on the right.

Clustered Blocks Bridging an Open Span

Every block has its own facets, some smooth and glassy, others crinkled and crystalline, so the rock sparkles in a different pattern from each side. The inclusions are kept sparse: thin, twisted slivers of pale straw with darker golden edges, and a sprinkle of crumbs, which leave the resin largely clear and let the faceting do the work. The two feet are broad and steady, and the span between them is wide enough to see right under the rock from the front. On the right the crumbs gather in a small, loose drift, like grains of sand caught in ice.

Low and broad, it sits well on a coffee table or a side table, where people can look through the opening and down onto the clustered crown, and it also suits a console or a desk. A dark surface beneath the span makes the opening stand out, while a reading lamp close by makes the facets glitter. Indoor use only.

The Bridge Rock, Changes and Delivery

Time separates the two: a bespoke commission takes 5–6 weeks, a standard piece 3–4. For the price you receive one rock, sold on its own. If you commission one, the straw slivers can be multiplied into a fuller drift or swapped for amber or bronze-toned flakes, the crumbs can be left out for a simpler look, and the opening can be widened; we can quote for other sizes too. It travels in a foam-lined carton with a block fitted under the span, and it should be lifted by both feet together, never by the crown. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

Clustered blocks of clear resin bridging an open span, with a few straw slivers inside, join our resin sculptures, our abstract sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
