A stag carrying its head high, this cast resin sculpture stands with the neck lifted and the muzzle tipped up over four legs taking the load evenly. The rack is modest for the size, two beams with a few tines each. Every surface is optically clear and polished, so the barrel holds a soft image of the room behind it while the four legs and the antlers break that image into narrow vertical strips. The animal is nearly as tall as a person and reads as a bright outline from any distance.
A clear animal is judged on what it does to the light behind it as much as on its surface, and a standing deer gives the eye four thin columns and one broad mass to compare. The barrel is deep enough to bend the room softly and forgive a great deal; the legs cannot, because a leg is narrow enough that any waviness turns the view through it into a zigzag, and the four are seen side by side. Each is therefore brought to a true taper before the final polish, working from the hoof up so the section grows evenly, and the four are compared against each other rather than against a drawing. The polish goes on last and hides nothing: a scratch in clear resin catches the light as a bright line.
At 170cm it meets an adult eye to eye on the floor, so it wants a hall, a landing, a garden room or the open part of a large space, somewhere it can be walked round. Clear resin needs something worth seeing through: put it where there is planting, a patterned floor or a window with a view and the animal fills with that, while against a plain white wall it softens to a pale outline. Keep it out of a walkway where a rack is at chest height.
Bespoke commissions take 5–6 weeks; standard pieces take 3–4. The finish is specified with the order: this clear polish, a frosted surface, or a tint through the resin such as amber or smoke. Rack spread is open, and a hind can be made from this body with no antlers. Any height can be made to order. The stag is shipped standing, its rack cased apart from the body; lift under the barrel with gloved hands, since polished resin shows every fingerprint. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A clear stag with its muzzle lifted belongs with our deer statues; four slender legs under a clear barrel lead to our animal sculptures, and a stag as tall as a person joins our contemporary and modern sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
