Clear Stag with Bronze Antlers on Black Marble Resin Sculpture - 180cm
Clear Stag with Bronze Antlers on Black Marble Resin Sculpture - 180cm $19,35600
Description

A clear resin stag in mid-stride, its head raised and turned a little to one side, carries a great rack of antlers in a warm bronze finish, broad and many-pointed. Its four slender legs are clear to the hooves, and one hind hoof meets the ground on its point, which is what gives the stride. It stands on a square black marble base set with straight gold lines that cross its face, and the base comes with it.

A Bronze Rack Over a Clear Stag in Mid-Stride

The antlers are a different material from the body, finished in bronze, and a rack this broad has to sit true on the skull before anything else about the animal looks right. The legs keep their fullness through the shoulder and the haunch and taper only toward the hooves, so the clear body seems to rest lightly under the weight of the spread above it. The base is a polished slab and the gold lines run in its face, so the hooves stand on a field of black crossed by thin bright lines. Fine threads and specks held in the clear resin catch the light as you move round it, and no two castings carry them in quite the same places.

At 180cm the stag belongs in a hall: an entrance, the foot of a staircase or a long gallery, where it can be seen whole from a distance and the rack read against a plain wall. Give the antlers clear height and keep the piece out of a passage line, since the spread is the widest part of it. A dark floor or a dark wall behind it brings up the clear body, and daylight from one side catches the bronze.

Antler Finish, the Marble Base and Bringing It In

Set aside 3–4 weeks for a standard piece and 5–6 weeks for a bespoke commission. The rack can take a gold, silver or black finish in place of the bronze, and the body can be tinted smoke or amber. Another stone can be chosen for the base, white or green, with or without the gold lines. The head can be turned further or set square, and size is cut to order. Delivery is upright in a fitted crate with the rack braced, and it takes two people to bring it in along a route checked for the antlers. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.

A stepping stag under a bronze rack belongs with our deer statues; a clear body on a gold-lined base leads to our figurative sculptures, and resin and marble together join our resin sculptures.

Shipping & Returns

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.

Production Time

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.

  • Standard sculptures: approximately 3–4 weeks from order confirmation.
  • Bespoke commissions (custom sizes, finishes, or fully custom designs): approximately 5–6 weeks from design sign-off.

Production time is separate from delivery time.

Free Worldwide Shipping

Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.

Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.

All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.

Delivery to Your Address

Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.

For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.

Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.

International Orders & Customs

For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.

If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.

Returns

Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.

To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.

Damage in Transit

Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:

  1. Report the damage within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Provide clear photographs of both the damage and the packaging.
  3. We arrange collection and either replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Lifetime Guarantee

Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.

This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
