Fourteen rounded clear pebbles stacked one on another up a slender column, each resting on the one below, on a block of dark stone. The pebbles are colourless and each is a little different in size and shape, so the column wavers slightly as it rises and every one returns its own highlight. The black marble base under it comes with the column.
Stacking rounded pebbles rather than blocks turns the column into a line of highlights, so what the piece shows is its rhythm and not its mass. The pebbles are machined from a high-clarity stock, which is what lets each one be taken to an optical polish, and no two are cut to the same outline, so the column has the irregular rhythm of stones gathered by hand. Clear material stacked in rounded pieces returns a bright point at every curve, and the column reads as a string of light rather than as a solid. The black marble beneath gives the lowest pebble something dark to read against.
It belongs in a narrow space: a stair return, a landing or the end of a hall, since it takes almost no floor. It reads best against a dark wall. Clear material in front of clear glazing disappears altogether. Light from above runs down the stack pebble by pebble; light from the side gives it one bright vertical. From across a room it is a single stroke, and the pebbles only separate from about two paces.
Standard pieces take 3–4 weeks and bespoke commissions 5–6. The pebble count can be run further or cut back, their shapes made rounder or flatter, and the base exchanged for a paler stone. Add pebbles and the height grows with them, because each keeps its own size rather than being thinned to hold the height. It arrives in one tall crate with the base packed at the foot of it, and no tool is needed to stand the two up together. Two people, one at each end. It is light for its height and that is exactly what makes it awkward. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A slender clear column rising from a black base stands among our indoor sculptures; its plain, repeated forms suit our contemporary and modern sculptures, and the clear material sits with our resin sculptures.

Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
