A cluster of spheres of graduated size rising from a pair at the foot, all of them colourless, on a gilt disc of steel. Colourless throughout, so every sphere carries the colour of the room instead of one of its own. Big spheres sit low and little ones gather at the tips of the two arms. The gilt disc is included beneath the cluster, broad and deep.
A colourless sphere is a lens, and a cluster of them is a cluster of lenses. Each one shows the room behind it upside down and at its own scale, so the piece changes completely with whatever is put near it and carries no fixed appearance of its own. Spheres in a colourless body each act as a lens, so the material shows the room upside down in every one of them and the piece changes with whatever is put near it. Polished over every sphere, and the disc is finished in gilt so the cluster has one warm thing beneath it.
A hall or a landing, set where there is something worth reflecting within a pace or two of it. Something dark at its back, or a colourless cluster simply has nothing to read against. Light from one side sets a point going in every sphere at once, which is what makes the count legible. The cluster reads as one mass from the door and separates into spheres as you cross the room.
In the workshop a standard piece takes 3–4 weeks and a bespoke commission 5–6. We will change the sphere count, run a tint through them, or finish the disc in plain steel. Add spheres and the plan widens with them, since each one has to touch its neighbours to read as a cluster rather than a heap. Two crates. The disc goes down and is levelled, and the cluster is lowered onto it. Three people. It is wider than it is heavy and the spheres are where a grip fails. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A gilt steel disc under a cluster of clear spheres leads to our stainless steel sculptures; the cluster rising in graduated sizes belongs to our organic sculptures, and a landing with something worth reflecting nearby holds it among our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For orders shipping outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees at your destination country are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are set by your local authority and are not included in our shipping cost.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
