A single rounded summit rising from a broad foot, with a wing held out to either side and lifted clear of the surface: one short and forked into two prongs, the other drawn out long until it thins to a fine point. There is no colour in the body at all; black smoke swirls up through the summit and along the long wing, and that is the whole of what the eye finds. Nothing is supplied under it, and only the foot of the peak touches the surface.
A peak with wings is a landscape drawn out sideways until it stops being a mountain and starts being a horizon. The two wings are made unlike each other: one is cut short and split in two, while its opposite runs out into a long, rising point, so the outline never settles into symmetry. The smoke follows the same path as the eye, swirling up through the summit and then running out along the long wing. The whole piece is polished over every face, which is what lets the smoke be read through the thickness rather than on the surface.
It suits a hall console or a long sideboard, with clear space either side of the wings. A pale wall is what the smoke needs; against dark panelling the piece has nothing to be seen against. Light behind it turns the smoke into a drawing and the body into nothing at all. The spread of the wings is what carries; the smoke is entirely a near thing.
It takes 3–4 weeks to make as standard, and 5–6 weeks to make bespoke. The wings are drawn out further, the smoke is thinned, and a tint is put through the body. Draw the wings out and the summit is raised to keep the proportion, because the peak is what the wings are read against. The short wing can also be left whole rather than forked, so that the two sides answer each other. It travels as one piece in one crate, and it is lifted with both hands under the summit and its foot, never by either wing. Our main studios are in the UK (Birmingham) and Dubai, with additional global workshops.
A colourless peak with one forked wing, one long one and smoke swirled through it rests among our organic sculptures, our resin sculptures and our indoor sculptures.

Almost every sculpture at Giant Sculptures is handmade to order, then shipped worldwide free of charge. Below is everything you need to know before you order, and what to expect after.
Almost every sculpture is handmade to order by our artisans — we do not mass-produce.
Production time is separate from delivery time.
Shipping is free worldwide on every sculpture, regardless of size or destination. Standard delivery is by sea freight, typically 6–8 weeks after production is complete.
Express air freight is available on request at additional cost, with delivery in up to 10 days. Ask us before placing your order, or straight after, and we will confirm the cost for your destination.
All sculptures ship in reinforced protective crating, fully insured to purchase value.
Delivery is to the door or curbside at your shipping address.
For larger sculptures shipped by sea freight, the carrier will contact you in advance to arrange a delivery window. Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery and that the property has suitable access for the size of the piece.
Once the sculpture arrives, you are responsible for positioning it in its final display location. For larger or heavier pieces, we recommend arranging two people (family, friends, or a local moving service) to help with placement.
For all orders delivered worldwide, all customs duties, import taxes, and applicable local clearance fees are fully included in the purchase price. We manage and settle these charges on your behalf, ensuring you will not incur any additional fees upon arrival.
Please note that this policy excludes shipments delivered to Switzerland, as well as any individual orders where an exclusion is explicitly stated prior to purchase; in such instances, local customs charges and import taxes remain the responsibility of the customer.
If you have questions about customs for your specific country, contact us before ordering and we can advise on typical charges for your region.
Where an order qualifies, we accept returns within 14 days of receipt, in original condition and original packaging, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Because our sculptures are made individually, most orders do not qualify. Returns do not apply to any item that is not held in stock, is made to order, or is custom or bespoke.
To check whether your order qualifies, contact us within 14 days of receipt. On a qualifying return, return shipping is at the customer's cost, a 25% restocking fee applies, and original shipping charges are not refunded.
Every sculpture ships fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage during transit:
Every sculpture carries a lifetime guarantee against finish defects under normal display conditions, subject to our Terms & Conditions.
This covers manufacturing defects, premature finish degradation, and structural failures under normal display. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, inappropriate environments (for example, an indoor-only sculpture placed outdoors), or modifications made after delivery.
If you have questions about shipping, customs, delivery timing, or anything else before you order, our team is here to help. Contact us via WhatsApp, email, or phone, and we'll respond within 24 hours.
